Year 7 Smartrider information
Kent Street Senior High School provides the first Smartrider card free of charge. Replacement cards may be ordered at a cost of $5.00 per card. See the library staff (cash, eftpos card for payment).
The Smartrider is legal ID and must not be defaced in any way. Students are expected to bring their card to school each day as they are used for various functions.
- Loaning books – fast & easy loaning of resources
- Printing – associate Smartrider card to tap and release print jobs in the library
- Canteen – set up Smartrider card to pay for food at the canteen
Students are emailed through Compass as soon as their Smartrider arrives and may collect from the library. For year 7s a professional school photo will be taken in week 2 of term 1 and once we receive these digitally, we can order the Smartrider cards.
