School Board Members









The school board plays an important role in contributing to good school governance so that school resources are used efficiently, and community expectations and the school’s priorities reflect the needs of students.
Comprising of staff, parents and community members the board lends their knowledge and expertise to support the Principal in making decisions that provide the best possible educational outcome for students.








The Board have three main responsibilities:
Finance – overseeing the development of the school’s annual budget and ensuring proper records are kept of the school’s financial operation.
Strategic Planning – participating in the development and monitoring of the school strategic plan.
Policy Development and Review – developing, reviewing and updating policies that reflect the school’s values and strategic plan.
Our school board is comprised of:
Available positions for board members will be advertised through channels appropriate for each role i.e. parents through compass and staff through internal communications. Parents are elected by self-nomination and parent community vote. Community members may be selected or recommended and voted on by existing members.
